|
Practices and principles of SHADOW STYLE HATHA YOGA will be introduced, through a dynamic sequential form designed to free up the joints in the body in order to release muscular tension and encourage the proper flow of vital energy. The work is based on preparatory exercises (Dasa Chalana), which have the specific purpose of correcting imbalances in the feet, legs and hips while reducing what is in excess in the body and mind. Students will be taught how to source their power in the feet, trigger it in the legs, control it through the waist, channel it through the spine and express it out the hands.
The workshop is open to all regardless of prior experience and acts as a necessary introduction to those who have never practiced Shadow Yoga before.
Fee: $60

The goal of life is happiness, peace, love and enlightenment. The desire for perfection comes from the Self, the image of God which seeks to express itself through all humanity. KRIYA YOGA is a scientific art of perfect God truth union. It was revived in modern times by a great master of India, Babaji Nagaraj, as a synthesis of the teachings of the 18 siddhas. It includes a series of techniques.
In this weekend you will learn 18 postures for greater health, relaxation and energy; the 6 phases of the powerful breathing technique, known as "Kriya Kundalini Pranayama" to awaken and circulate subtle energies; 7 techniques of meditation to cleanse the subconscious, to master the mind and to bring about realization of the Self and Absolute Reality.
