How can I put a message on the Yogamontreal site?
Teachers and Studios
If you operate a yoga studio, or are a qualified yoga teacher (e.g. registered or eligible at the Yoga Alliance, or certified by a recognized school), we want Montrealers to know about you.
To have a directory listing under Teachers and Studios, here are two options.
1. Free listing. This no-cost option for qualified teachers and dedicated yoga studios helps us ensure that yogamontreal offers visitors to the site the most comprehensive possible list of yoga classes offered in the region. It includes a short description of the studio or teacher, qualifications, with a link.
2. Premium listing. For greater visibility, this option provides a box, photo, and more space for information. Price $100 per year (plus GST and QST on all prices), renewable for $50. Info updates free, major changes billable.
As for the Events, Workshops and Retreats, and Teacher Training pages, these are provided for yoga teachers and yoga studios in the Montreal region to post workshops and other events. Basic listing (text and link) is free of charge. Premium listing $30 plus tax includes photo and box.
For the Classified page, ads of interest to the yoga community are $30 for text with link, $50 for text, link, box and photo, for one year.
All of these prices include space on both the English and French pages of yogamontreal, with text supplied by you. Translation, upon request, at 15c per word.

How Do I Set It Up?
Here are the steps to keep it as simple as possible:
1. Prepare your text.
For basic listings: 150-200 words
For premium listings: up to 400 words
Please include contact information such as address, telephone, website link; also E-mail (if you wish).
Use the existing messages on the page as a guide if you are stuck.
You can put the text in the body of the e-mail, or attach a Word file with the text.
If you have an existing poster, brochure or website text you wish to use, send that and we will work with it.
2. Prepare your images.
If you are requesting a premium listing (which includes a photo or logo), you can send it to us by e-mail.
Please use a common image format that can be opened in Photoshop (jpg, gif, tiff and png images are all OK).
Don't process, reduce or save for web, please. We would prefer to have more options to make your ad interesting.
3. Send your text and/or images to yogamontreal.

4. Stand by. We'll put your message up ASAP.
Let us know if the time is short. In any case, if you don't hear from us after a week has gone by, that is too long -- send us a note.
5. Check the listing on the website.
We'll send you an e-mail when it's posted. Check your listing on the website and let us know if it's OK.
6. Pay for your premium listing.
If you opted for a paid message, we'll send you a bill (invoice) by e-mail when the job is complete.
